Veterinarians

Dr. Mary May

Dr. Mary May has lived in the New River Valley for more than 30 years. She received her B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech and her DVM degree from The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medine. She has two grown children, a daughter in Florida and a son in Maine. Her special interests are wildlife rehabilitation and Avian and Exotic pets. She currently shares a 100 year old farmhouse with two dogs, three cats, and four sheep.

Dr. Kristen Miller

Dr. Kristen Miller was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. In May 2010 she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She joined the Dublin Animal Hospital staff in June that same year. She has two dogs, a collie named Conner and a mixed breed named Harley. Her two cats, Cleopatra and Fluffer Nutters live in relative harmoney with the dogs.

Dr. Miller sees cats, dogs the occasional ferret, and fosters orphaned baby birds. She believes in treating her patients as if they were her own pets and looks forward to assisting you with all your veterinary needs.

Dr. Lynda Oleksuk

Lynda Oleksuk joined Dublin Animal Hospital in January 2002 as a part-time associate veterinarian. She is a 1999 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, but her background is a little unusual. She has a bachelors, masters and most of a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech. She lives in Montgomery County with her husband, two children, five dogs and two cats. Dr. "O" enjoys several dog sports (mostly flyball and agility) and kayaking in her free time.

Technicians

Tereba

Tereba (Ms. Kitti) moved to Dublin in 1983 from Abingdon, Virginia to start her new career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) after graduating from Blue Ridge Community College. She has three cats: Rosie, Jackson, and Peepers.

Ginny

Ginny has lived in the New River Valley her whole life. She has always had a love for animals and enjoys her job here at Dublin Animal Hospital. Ginny has been at the hospital three years, originally working as an animal caretaker. She is currently finishing her degree in veterinary technology at San Juan College and has two dogs and two cats of her own. She also has two beautiful children.

Receptionists

Malena

Malena is a full-time receptionist that has been with Dublin Animal Hospital since the fall of 2011.

She has a sweet baby boy that is the center of her universe. Her dog and faithful companion Gabe is always by her side. When she can find free time she enjoys playing with her baby, spending time with family, reading, and napping to recover.

Jessica E.

Jessica E. has worked at Dublin Animal Hospital since January of 2011 as a full time receptionist. She has an associate's degree in Medical Assisting.

At home she has plenty to keep her busy: a Pit Bull and an English Bulldog, and a kitty named Maddy Jo. Her favorite things are spending time with family, her husband, son, and daughter. She also enjoys spending time with friends and working on fun craft projects at home.

Kymber

Kymber has been employed with Dublin Animal Hospital since March of 2013. She is a full time employee that works part time as a Receptionist and part time as an Animal Caretaker. She has two spoiled dogs, a Lab mix puppy and a Blue Heeler puppy. Her favorite things in life are spending time with her husband, enjoying time with other family, and remodeling and decorating their new home.

Office Manager

Julie B.

Julie is the Office Manager at Dublin Animal Hospital. She has been employed at the hospital for 15 years. Prior to accepting the Office Manager position in 2006, she was a receptionist and veterinary assistant.

She resides in Radford, Virginia with her husband and son on the family farm. She has many spoiled critters: a Doberman, three cats, a turtle, a goat, and many cows. When she finds free time she enjoys gardening, reading, Hokie football, family trips to the beach, and her favorite is spending time with her boys.

Groomer

Phyllis

Phyllis is the Groomer for Dublin Animal Hospital. She is from Dublin, Virginia, and has been with the business since 1990. She loves working with animals, and has yorkies, cats, goats and more.

Animal Caretakers

Chris

Chris is a summer employee in the kennel department. He is currently attending college in upstate New York.

Aime

Aime is our newest team member, joining in August 2013. She is a student at Pulaski County High School, with hopes of going into college and becoming a successful veterinarian.

Missy

Missy has been employed with Dublin Animal Hospital since August 2012. She is a full time Animal Caretaker.

She has many furry critters at home to keep her busy: two dogs, two kittens, and two horses. In her spare time she loves spending time at the barn with her horses, being with family, barrel racing, and traveling.
